About Us
CEO Bryan Alzate, together with his partners, founded United Recovery Project in 2016. A native of Davie, Florida, Bryan knows the insufferable consequences of addiction all too well. His hometown of Davie is the epicenter of the region’s opioid crisis. Growing up in Florida’s drug haven, Bryan, and many of his peers, experimented with drugs and eventually became addicts. However, it wasn’t just Bryan’s own addiction that immersed him into the world of substance abuse. Bryan soon realized the widespread impact drugs left on his community; he wasn’t the only one suffering. It became apparent: addiction impacted virtually everyone in his South Florida community in one way or another.
